Rule 15.4D. Contested Involuntary Termination of
Parental Rights. Appointment of Counsel for Minor Child.
When the attorney for petitioners has reason to believe the petition for involuntary
termination will be contested, the attorney for petitioners, at the time of presentation of
the petition or as soon thereafter as there is reason to believe the petition will be
contested, shall request the Court to appoint counsel for the minor child or children in
accordance with Section 2313 of the Adoption Act.
