Rule 4. Computation of Time
For example, when it is required to give "at least ten (10)
days notice" of a hearing to be held on Monday, the 14th day
of a month, the notice would have to be served not later than the
end of day 1 of the month; if served on day 2, the ten-day notice
period would end on day 12 of the month, which is a Saturday and
is omitted from the computation, as in Sunday the 13th day of the
month.
